Eldon A. Tessman

Eldon Tessman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Minnesota in 1950. He has spent his lifetime contributing to the community, agricultural research and the advancement of higher education. His involvement with the University has been constant throughout his farming years to the present. He provided potato research plots on his farm and served as chairman of the Sand Plains Experimental Farm Advisory Committee that developed research in potatoes, horticultural crops and a 4-acre greenhouse utilizing waste heat from an electric power plant. He has received recognition for his achievements in education, government, and the community.
