Leonard S. Parker

Leonard S. Parker is a 1948 graduate of the College of Architecture. He is recognized as a leader in contemporary architecture and interior design. He started his own firm, The Leonard Parker Associates, in 1958. This Minneapolis firm has received more than 100 regional, national, and international awards for design excellence. His work can be found throughout the country and abroad. However, many of his award-winning designs are right here, including the Law School, Hubert H. Humphrey Institute for Public Affairs, Elliott Hall, and the Physical Education Field House at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. His firm also designed the Minneapolis Convention Center, the Minnesota Judicial Center, and offices and studios for Minneapolis Public Radio. He is the recipient of the American Institute of Architects Fellowship and the Minnesota AIA Gold Medal.
