Pamela F. Olson

Pamela F. Olson graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1976, magna cum laude, and received an M.B.A. degree from the Carlson School in 1984. Currently she is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy for the United States Department of Treasury. She is the first woman chair of the ABA Tax Section and the first woman to serve in sub-cabinet position in the Treasury Department Office of Tax Policy. She was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and as Trustee of the American Tax Policy Institute. As someone who cares about and gives back to the profession through public service and professional organizations, Ms. Olson is a sponsor of a program that provides tax assistance to low income families.
