Peggy Lucas

Margaret "Peggy" Lucas received her bachelor's degree in Social Work (1963) and MSW (1978) from the University of Minnesota. She is the CEO of Brighton Development, which has served to bring urban renewal to Minneapolis. She is serving as both a member of the Board of Regents of St. John's University, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees and the CLA Advisory Board at the University of Minnesota. She also serves as the President of the Women's Economic Roundtable and the Director of the Children's Home Society. In addition, she made a national impact when she served as the nation's Vice President of the League of Women Voters. She is described as a public servant extraordinaire specializing in serving the underrepresented whether it be women's issues, children, the homeless, or girls and women in sport.
