Donald G. Low

Donald G. Low received his Ph.D. from the College of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1956. He is one of the founders of veterinary internal medicine. He championed an evidence-based approach to diagnosing and treating small animal disorders. He is also one of the charter founders of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Low is internationally recognized for his insights into the future of veterinary medical education. He has given generously of his time to many local, state, national, and international organizations and committees designed to advance the veterinary profession. The All-University Honors Committee enthusiastically endorsed the awarding of an Outstanding Achievement Award to Dr. Donald G. Low.
