Leonard E. Lindquist

Leonard E. Lindquist is a 1939 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. After graduating, he worked at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C.; and, in 1942, he entered the United States Navy and served until 1946. After his military service, he formed the law firm of Larson & Lindquist, which later became Lindquist & Vennum. During his career, he has been involved in labor law issues and has worked as a national labor attorney, arbitrator, and mediator. He had a key role in representing the National Football League Players Association in negotiating changes on their behalf. Although he retired from private practice in 1988, he continues to serve as an arbitrator and mediator at age 90.
