Nancy M. Lindahl

Outstanding Achievement Award Recipient

Nancy M. Lindahl received her bachelor's degree in 1968 from the College of Education. She is an outstanding volunteer, fundraiser and community leader with such organizations as the Minnesota Orchestra, Children's Home Society, Children's Cancer Research Fund, and Junior League of Minneapolis. She has been a tireless advocate for the University of Minnesota, serving on the board of the Alumni Association and as national board president. During her tenure, the University completed and opened the new McNamara Alumni Center for which she helped to raise funds, and the UMAA saw its membership reach record levels. One individual wrote, "Nancy epitomizes the fundamental values of this college in her untiring support of education, community service and her work to improve the lives and health of others."
