Richard M. Kruger

Richard M. Kruger graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1981. He is the Vice President of Asia Pacific/Middle East of Exxon Mobil Production Company, which is a division of Exxon Mobile Corporation that has gas and oil production operations in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Japan, Qatar, Yemen and Abu Dhabi. He is responsible for annual corporate earnings of almost $2 billion. Because of his excellent leadership skills and strong work ethic, he rapidly advanced through Exxon's corporate structure. He is also known for his high standards of moral and ethical conduct in business and family endeavors. He has demonstrated his support and that of his company for community programs in health, safety, the environment and education. The Director-General of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health of Malaysia wrote "Mr. Kruger's dedication and support in the areas of occupational safety and health was exemplary while he was the Chairman of Exxon Mobil Subsidiaries in Malaysia in 2002. He advocated Exxon Mobil to actively share its best practices in the areas of safety, health, and the environment with other industries so that local companies could benefit from Exxon Mobil's worldwide experiences."
