Robert M. Kommerstad

Robert Kommerstad graduated from the Law School from the University of Minnesota in 1952. Soon after he joined the United States Air Force J.A.G. Corps where he tried lawsuits for four years. After his military service, he launched a career in managing investment securities for tax-exempt institutions, primarily pensions, profit sharing, and endowed funds for non-profit organizations, as well as for high net worth individuals. He is the founder and Senior Chairman of Provident Investment Counsel. Mr. Kommerstad is an active member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles board. His support for this organization spans more than three decades and includes major contributions at both the local and national levels.
