N.L. Gault, Jr.

Neal Gault graduated from the University of Minnesota's School of Medicine in 1951 and went on to become the dean from 1972-84. He has distinguished himself through exceptional and longstanding service to the University of Minnesota and the international community. His leadership has not only left its mark on the University of Minnesota but also several medical schools in the Pacific rim. His devotion to medical education continues to benefit the people of Minnesota, the region, and the world. Dr. Gault continues to be active with the Alumni Association and is a very effective Medical School booster and fundraiser. The All-University Honors Committee enthusiastically endorsed the awarding of an Outstanding Achievement Award to N.L. Gault, Jr. from the University of Minnesota.
