Scott Wallace holds a bachelor of science in business degree in accounting) from the Carlson School of Management (1980). He is an executive vice president at Dedicated Commercial Recovery Incorporated and is a retired managing director of Deloitte Consulting. Wallace’s business acumen, love for the University, and strong leadership skills have been integral to the growth of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA). Wallace joined the UMAA Board of Directors in 2016 and has served in various roles, including treasurer, chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, and chair of the Revenue Growth Task Force. Under his leadership of the Revenue Growth Task Force, the UMAA decided to reacquire the Alumni Market and invest in its growth, helping foster several new alumni entrepreneurs with this initiative. Additionally, Wallace was chair for the UMAA Board of Directors coming out of the pandemic and helped to lead the UMAA back to live events and helped move several important programs through completion. He is currently the chair of the UMAA’s Past Chairs Advisory Council, Nominating and Board Development Committee, and a member of the UMAA’s Alumni Housing Task Force. His tireless work on behalf of UMAA will help it grow and develop in meaningful and unique ways that will leave a lasting legacy.
