William Reilly was a uniquely supportive alumnus and volunteer. He served the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA) and the College of Agriculture, Food & Environmental Sciences (COAFES) for six years. As the COAFES representative to the UMAA National Board of Directors, he was an enthusiastic and committed liaison and a strong advocate for students. His dedication, spirit, and passion for academic excellence will benefit the alumni association, the college, and the field of agriculture far into the future. The All-University Honors Committee endorsed awarding the Alumni Service Award to William Reilly posthumously.
