Michael “Doobie” Kurus received a bachelor of science degree (1995) and a master of education degree (2003) in early childhood education from the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. Kurus has served with distinction by leading the College of Education and Human Development Alumni Society, mentoring students, promoting alumni association involvement, supporting scholarships, championing Gopher Athletics, and advocating for the University of Minnesota in the greater Twin Cities schools and communities.
