Ms. Huntrods has served the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA) since 1992. She served as UMAA vice president in 1995-96; president-elect 1996-97; president in 1997-98; and is currently immediate past president. During Anne's UMAA presidency, the association realized a 30-year dream in seeing construction begin on the University Gateway. Under her leadership, the association began to make good progress toward its of 50,000 members by 2,000. Also, the legislative network had its best year ever. Anne's volunteer service to the University is not limited to the alumni association. She has also served on the board of the Law School Alumni Association; served on Law School and College Agriculture search committees; and is currently chairing the Law School's fundraising campaign. The All-University Honors Committee enthusiastically endorsed the awarding of the University of Minnesota Alumni Service Award to Ann Huntrods.
