Brenda Hartman

Brenda Hartman received a bachelor of science degree in psychology, child psychology, and dance (1981) and a master of social work (1989) from the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Minnesota. She is the founder of Therapy for Children, Adults and Families, Inc., a private practice providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Hartman has served the CEHD Alumni Society Board of Directors as member (2012-present), vice president (2013), and president (2013-2014). In her role as past president, Hartman serves on the Membership and Resource Development Committee, providing leadership over the nomination and election of new board members and officers. From 2013-2015, she served on the Alumni Association Collegiate Council, representing CEHD to the national University of Minnesota Alumni Association Board.
