Mary Endorf

Mary Endorf received a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Minnesota in 1987. For more than a decade, she has been a devoted alumna, and an effective and tireless volunteer. She has served on the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) Alumni Society Board of Directors and in 2002 she was elected board president. One of the activities she became involved with was conducting mock interviews with students who were completing the initial teacher licensure program. She served as co-chair of the CEHD Centennial Committee and as a member of the College's Capital Campaign Advisory Committee. She is also the co-founder of the Women's Philanthropic Leadership Circle and has played an integral role in its success. In addition, she has served a two-year term as president of the University of Minnesota's chapter of Pi Lambda Theta, an honorary and professional education organization. Prior to her retirement in 2006, she had been chair and assistant professor of the Education Department at Augsburg College, the principal of the Orono Early Childhood Center and Orono Intermediate School, and adjunct professor at Hamline University and the University of St. Thomas.
