Jeff D. Williams

Jeff D. Williams earned a master’s degree in public affairs in1996 from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Williams was a member of the Humphrey School Alumni Society Board of Directors from 2011 to 2018, and its president from 2016-18. The fact that he would travel from his home in Michigan to attend board meetings left an indelible mark on his fellow board members, inspiring them to similar levels of commitment. While on the board, he conceived of the Alumni-In-Resident Program, which brings selected alumni back to the school to share their expertise with students and alumni. Because he understood the importance of building a strong infrastructure among alumni and current students, he would often serve on career panels, mentor students, and encourage leadership development in fellow alumni. The Humphrey School is proud to count Williams, with his never-ending positivity and warmth, among its graduates.
