Myrna H. Shaw

Myrna H. Shaw graduated with a bachelor of science degree in home economics in 1960 from the College of Home Economics, a predecessor to the current College of Education and Human Development, at the University of Minnesota. Shaw has served the University in many ways since then, including as an active alumni board member for her sorority and an engaged member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron national honor society’s University of Minnesota alumni group. For over 20 years, she has been an outstanding volunteer leader on behalf of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association’s Arizona West Valley Chapter, serving in the roles of director at large, treasurer, and president. She has also been a driving force behind the chapter’s recognition as an outstanding alumni network, its successful fundraising efforts, and strengthening of alumni connections to the University. She is a truly dedicated and engaged alumna.
