Mary L. Kurth

Mary L. Kurth, earned an associate arts, physics degree from the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) in 1972, bachelor of science in business, accounting in 1974 and a master of business administration in 1976 from the Carlson School of Management (CSOM) at the University of Minnesota. She is a dedicated volunteer for CSE, CSOM, and the University of Minnesota. Kurth has been a consummate mentor to students in CSE and CSOM since 2000, having helped 25 students prepare for life after college. Kurth has served as vice chair of the CSE Alumni Society Board and has also served on two CSOM boards. In addition, she has worked to improve campus climate through her service on the University Senate Social Concerns Committee. A life member of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, Kurth has demonstrated her commitment to the University for more than two decades and she has further shown her commitment by establishing two undergraduate scholarships in honor of her sons, also graduates of the University of Minnesota.
