Bruce L. Chamberlain

Bruce L. Chamberlain, a nationally recognized urban designer and strategist, received a bachelor of landscape architecture in 1989 from the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. Described as a trusted advisor, visionary leader, and dedicated mentor, Chamberlain has committed countless hours in service to the University of Minnesota and Department of Landscape Architecture, supporting department initiatives, serving as a relationship builder, and working to help students become better designers. He has served on numerous alumni, planning, and faculty search committees and is a frequent guest speaker, juror, and project critic. Chamberlain also has been a lead volunteer and advisor in establishing and advancing the Roger Martin Travel Prize for early career professionals, which has grown to almost $200,000 since 2018.
