Sandra Ulsaker Wiese

Sandra Ulsaker Wiese graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 1981 from the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) at the University of Minnesota. She is recognized by many as having a deep and abiding commitment to advancing the mission of the University and involving alumni in that commitment. Ulsaker Wiese has served the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMMA) in a number of capacities. She served as chair of the UMAA Board of Directors, the Nominating and Board Development Committee, the Finance and Audit Committee, and the Past Chairs Advisory Group. She has also been a member of the Executive Committee and the Financial Model Task Force. She served on the University of Minnesota Men’s Athletics Advisory Board and Athletics Advisory Board (1998-2008). She also holds the title of Alumni of Notable Achievement from CLA. Outside the University, Ulsaker Wiese is equally engaged in volunteering. She is a former board member of Norway House, a forward-thinking international business and culture organization in Minneapolis, and currently sits on four of its committees. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army’s Northern Division, and chairs its Development Committee, and is a past member of the Mount Olivet Church Council.
