Betsy Vohs

Betsy Vohs is the founder of the new local design firm, Studio BV. She received a master of architect degree (2004) from the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. In addition to serving as a mentor and a classroom speaker, Vohs has served on the College of Design Student and Alumni Board (DSAB) since 2013. She served as the College of Design Alumni Society President (2015-16); Sophomore Interior Design Studio Competition Facilitator and Judge (2015-16); Alumni Association Collegiate Council member (2015-present); and Architecture Networking and Portfolio Review Event Pro Volunteer (2013-17). She helped launch DSAB College to Career Sponsorship Program during her term as president, personally securing over $20,000 in funding to support College to Career programs for design students. Vohs is described as a driven, thoughtful, and passionate volunteer who is committed to the success of the College of Design students.
