Bruce W. Beckman

Bruce W. Beckman received a bachelor of science degree in business (1990) and a master of business administration degree (1999) from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Currently, he is the director of corporate planning & analysis at General Mills. He is described as an outstanding example of an involved and engaged alumnus, committed to making a difference at the University of Minnesota and the Carlson School of Management through board involvement, mentoring, and assisting with career opportunities. He is an active recruiter of Carlson School students for open positions within General Mills. He is an actively sought after classroom and student club speaker, sharing his experiences in both successes and struggles. He was nominated and elected to the Carlson Alumni Board in 2004; served as president of the Board, 2008-2009; and in 2010 he was nominated and elected to the Carlson Undergraduate Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Carlson Alumni Career Network and the Carlson School Mentorship Program.
