Robert DeMaster

Robert DeMaster, retired chief technical advisor of Suntava Corporation (now part of Health Food Ingredients, LLC.) received a Ph.D. (1970) in chemistry from the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Minnesota. He is the founding member of the Chemistry External Advisory Board, which helps the Department of Chemistry in its efforts to build relationships with the broader community. He has served as a member of the CSE Campaign Committee since 2012. In this role, he helped the college exceed its $150 million goal for phase one of the campaign by $26 million. In addition, he is a regular attendee at, and has served as an alumni judge for, the annual Chemistry Graduate Symposium. DeMaster is a joint life member of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association with his wife, Jill. He is a committed and energetic alumnus.
