Michelle S. Aytay

Michelle S. Aytay received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1996 from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. Currently, she serves as the Minnesota clinical services coordinator at Walgreens with 25 years of pharmacy experience. She also has served for nine and a half years as a Walgreens Pharmacy supervisor, an American Pharmacists Association (APhA) immunization and health trainer, and a certified diabetes educator (CDE). For the past 19 years, she has volunteered in numerous aspects. She is the past-president of the Pharmacy Alumni Society (2003-2004) and a current member of the Board of Directors of the college’s Century Mortar Club. In addition, she is also a member of the Minnesota Pharmacists Association and has been an active leader on Minnesota’s Pharmacy Practice Joint Task Force. Aytay has been a mentor for current and for many prospective students. She volunteers for the college’s alumni panel at fall or spring review day for prospective students and their guests. She also is a fixture at the college’s career day for pharmacy students in Duluth and Minneapolis.
