Jennifer Anderson, president and founder of Made for Retail, received a bachelor of science degree in 1995 from the College of Human Ecology (now the College of Design) and a bachelor of science degree in business administration, also in 1995, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She has served as a volunteer mentor and career resource for the students in the College of Design for the past 18 years. Anderson served on the College of Human Ecology (CHE) Alumni Society Board for four years, including one as president. During that time, she helped establish “college to career” programs for students. She is also credited with leading the society as CHE closed and transitioned to three new colleges, including the College of Design. Of her 25 employees, 11 of those are University of Minnesota alumni. When hiring, she has posted at least 22 jobs and internships on Goldpass since 2008.
