Roger Moe, a native of Crookston, Minnesota, has served as a public servant for over thirty years. He was elected to the Minnesota Legislature in 1970 and is the longest serving Senate Majority Leader in the history of the state. His achievements include landmark legislation streamlining higher education in Minnesota; gaining national recognition of Minnesota’s K-12 education and high standards; the creation of the Midwest Higher Education Commission; and the author of the Environmental Trust Fund. He is the recipient of the William M. Bulger Excellence in State Legislative Leadership Award, the Gillette Children’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Mike Snyar Public Service Award.
