Jane Ellen Brody has been recognized as the foremost syndicated health writer in the United States for over thirty years. Her articles on nutrition, exercise, weight control, vegetarianism, sports nutrition and vitamin/mineral supplementation were the first ever written for mainstream Americans. Her column, books, lectures, and public television program provide sensible, scientifically based information to millions of Americans about an array of health-related issues. Ms. Brody has many strong roots in the Minnesota area. She began her science writing career at the Minneapolis Tribune before moving to the New York Times. She has also served as the keynote speaker at numerous public health and wellness conferences in Minnesota.
