Burton Visnick

Burton Visnick earned his master of architecture degree in 1985 from the School of Architecture at the University of Minnesota. Visnick has been a member of the University of Minnesota College of Design Advisory Board since 2013, and is currently a charter member of the Capital Campaign Committee. Since 2012, Visnick has committed extensive time and resources to expanding the global citizenship and cultural awareness of University of Minnesota design students by creating a significant travel fellowship. He also provides endless mentoring and advocacy for design students traveling in the School of Architecture’s M-term travel abroad programs in China and Japan. Generously sharing his time and industry expertise, Visnick has contributed to the professional development of many College of Design students by mentoring, critiquing juried competitions, and advising architecture students on possible thesis topics.
