W. Andrew Boss earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota in 1954. Throughout his career in banking and community service he has devoted himself to building the Twin Cities community, helping those in need of help, and supporting education and the arts. The challenges he has taken on range from public housing to the St. Paul Library to the Board of Working Opportunities for Women. He is described as a person who operates without ego, but with strong values and a sense of how to get the best out of everyone in an organization.
