Lawrence A. Laukka

Lawrence A. Laukka received a B.A. degree in Economics in 1958 from the University of Minnesota. He is the founder and owner of Edina-based Laukka Development Company. The Edinborough and Centennial Lakes developments are just two of his unique development achievements. The Edina Chamber of Commerce named him Businessman of the Year in 1987. He is the past national president of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, 1989 volunteer of the Year, chief executive officer of the University of Minnesota Gateway Corporation and trustee of the University of Minnesota Foundation. He is known as the key volunteer point person and driving force behind the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota Gateway.
