Heinrich Jaeger

Heinrich Martin Jaeger received his master's degree (1982) and Ph.D. (1987) in physics from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Physics Faculty at the University of Chicago. His accomplishments are primarily scientific in three research areas of Condensed Matter Science, the study of granular media, vortex dynamics in superconductors, and mesoscopic physics. He is also recognized as one of the leaders of the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center at the University of Chicago.
