Dean B. Chenoweth received his bachelor's degree (1943) in mechanical engineering and his MBA (1948) from the University of Minnesota. He is the founder of Advantek, Inc., a Minnesota-based company that currently employs 700 and has offices worldwide. He is considered a leader in the area of information technology. He is an active financial supporter and engineering advisor of the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project.
