Carl G. Krespan

Carl G. Krespan received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1952. From the University of Minnesota he moved to the Central Research and Development Labs at DuPont where he stayed for over forty years until his retirement. During his career he published over 75 papers, book chapters and reviews. He had 95 patents issued in his name. His main area of expertise is fluorocarbon and fluoropolymer chemistry. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Pedersen Award, a preeminent honor for a scientist. He is described as a man of high integrity, very disciplined and exceptionally creative.
