Stephen Litton

Stephen Litton received a bachelor of arts, College of Liberal Arts (1965), a doctor of Dental Surgery, School of Dentistry (1967), a master of science in Orthodontics from the School of Dentistry (1970), and a Ph.D. in anatomy from the Department of Anatomy (1972) at the University of Minnesota. He served as a driving force on many committees for the School of Dentistry, including faculty searches and major campaigns. He served two terms on the University of Minnesota Alumni Association National Board and the School of Dentistry Alumni Society. He is a respected leader and tireless volunteer who donates endless hours of his time to the advancement of the University of Minnesota and the School of Dentistry. He is described as a passionate advocate for the University, a true champion of the membership drive and the branding for the alumni association, and a major contributor to the enhancement of the student experience, including career development and mentoring. Dr. Litton opened his private orthodontic practice in 1970, where he still practices today.
