Scott Manwarren

Alumni Service Award Recipient

Collge of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, October 29, 2008

Scott Manwarren received a bachelor of science in Agricultural Industries and Marketing in 1997 from the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) at the University of Minnesota. He is described as a remarkably creative, enthusiastic and dedicated alumni volunteer. As player, committee member and committee chair, he has played a pivotal role in raising more than $50,000 for student scholarships since 2004 through a Golf Scramble fundraiser. He has taken the lead role of the coordination of the fundraiser and the communication with the planning committee as well as serving as liaison to the CFANS Alumni Society Board of Directors. He has also been a speaker at the Alumni Association Volunteer Leadership Training, where he shared his experience and ideas as a volunteer with the College's Alumni Society. He is indeed a great role model for successfully involving alumni volunteers.
