Michael S. Sudit

Michael S. Sudit received a bachelor of science in child psychology (1981) from the College of Liberal Arts, a bachelor of science in oral biology (1982), a doctor of dental surgery (1985), and advanced general dentistry residency (1986) from the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. Sudit has been an active member of the School of Dentistry community for 33 years. He is a member of the School of Dentistry Alumni Society Board, a dedicated volunteer to the Admissions and Diversity Committee, and successful co-chair of the Dentistry Golf Classic. He is described as a champion of reaching out to those in need within the community. Recently, he partnered with other School of Dentistry alumni and students, and the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, to produce Team Smile, an event that has sports and dental professionals teaming up to enhance children’s health and wellness through improved oral health. He also volunteers his services to Give Kids a Smile day. Sudit is committed to the School of Dentistry and the University of Minnesota in the recruitment, mentoring, and selection of the best students who will be the dentists of the future.
