John T. Wetzel received a Ph.D. in psychology in 1973 from the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) at the University of Minnesota. Recently retired from Right Management Consultants, a global human resource-consulting firm, Wetzel volunteers full-time as a staff member to help assess and offer professional development support to CLA students. He also serves as faculty adviser for the CLA Business Club. He chaired the CLA Internships Working Group; volunteered for CLA’s Entrepreneur Engagement Project; and, serves as an advisor to CLA’s Internship Project, an initiative to raise funds to create new paid internship opportunities for CLA students. In 2014, Wetzel was inducted as a CLA Alumnus of Notable Achievement.
