Carol Kelsey, graduate of the School of Nursing (1960) at the University of Minnesota, is a tireless advocate for nursing practice and education. As chair of the School of Nursing Foundation, chair of the annual Jewelry Sale benefiting nursing scholarships, and facilitator for the Academic Health Center’s 1Health course, she has devoted countless hours to provide leadership and service to the University community. Noted for her policy development in healthcare education, Kelsey’s nursing career spans nearly five decades. In retirement, her deep commitment to the school, her passion for supporting students and nursing research, and her ongoing engagement with former classmates and fellow volunteers continues to energize alumni programming and enhance inter-professional collaboration in healthcare delivery. She currently is consulting for a variety of organizations.
