Anne R. Carroll

Anne R. Carroll received a bachelor of arts degree in American studies and English (1979) from the College of Liberal Arts and a master of planning in public affairs (1983) from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. In her more than 25 years of service to the University of Minnesota, Carroll has served both as a member and as the president of the Humphrey School’s alumni board. She mentored more than 16 students, and was an adjunct faculty member for eight years. Her philanthropic leadership to the Humphrey Alumni Scholarship Program, as well as her support of the College of Design and College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, has been immeasurable. Carroll is the founder of Carroll, Franck & Associates, which is a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, public involvement, and communications for the public and the nonprofit sectors.
