Paul Hugunin

Paul Hugunin received a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business administration (1989) in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resources Sciences (CFANS) at the University of Minnesota. As an active volunteer in the department and the college since he graduated, Hugunin has served as a resource to many faculty by speaking to classes and serving on employer panels. He has recruited numerous mentors to support student development, volunteered at many events, and engaged dozens of students through the CFANS Mentor Program. Personally, he has formally mentored 10 students. He played a key role in creating the first “Mentor Chalk Talk” featuring Gopher alum and former NFL player Darrell Thompson, to speak on the value of mentoring relationships. Described as a true ambassador for the University of Minnesota, Hugunin is a dedicated, passionate, and inspirational volunteer.
