Thomas L. Friedman, a native of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, is described as one of the most distinguished journalists ever to come out of our state. He has twice won the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for his coverage of events in Israel and Lebanon. He is the author of the acclaimed best seller From Beirut to Jerusalem, which won National Book Award and Overseas Press Club Award. Friedman's most recent book, The Olive Tree, is an international best seller.
