His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, is the temporal and spiritual leader of Tibetans and a world leader in promoting peace, nonviolence and compassion. He has collaborated with scientists to conduct research and disseminate the findings about how to create and maintain a healthy mind. He has traveled to more than 62 countries; spanning six continents to meet with dignitaries, teach compassion, nonviolence, secular ethics, universal responsibility and environmental protection. He has authored over 72 books. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 and he has received over 84 awards, honorary doctorates and Prizes.
